On September 3, 2025, the “PLA Fiber Application Guide (First Edition)” was officially released.

Led by the China Chemical Fibers Association and jointly compiled by leading enterprises across the industry chain, universities, and research institutions, this authoritative publication systematically presents the current status, application challenges, and solutions of PLA fibers in raw materials, preparation methods, weaving, dyeing and finishing, applications, degradability, recycling, and reuse. Its goal is to provide the industry with a comprehensive and practical technical reference.
As one of the main contributors, eSUN fully leveraged its technological expertise and practical experience in the R&D, production, and application of PLA fiber materials, actively participating in the writing and refinement of the guide.
At the launch event, eSUN also officially signed a project cooperation agreement with Wuhan Textile University on “Research on the Functional Mechanisms of PLA Fibers,” further advancing efforts to enhance user experience and strengthen market competitiveness of PLA fibers.

As a green and biodegradable new material, PLA fiber is embracing tremendous development opportunities. Looking ahead, eSUN will continue to collaborate with upstream and downstream industry partners, deepen technological innovation and application promotion, and drive the adoption of green and low-carbon materials in fields such as functional textiles, home living, and healthcare, contributing to the high-quality development of the textile industry.
Meanwhile, the 2025 Yarnexpo Autumn successfully took place from September 2–4. Under the coordination of the China Chemical Fibers Association, eSUN joined hands with several peer companies to establish the Bio-based Fiber Exhibition Zone, offering visitors a one-stop experience. eSUN’s Booth E125-3, Hall 8.2, attracted many industry professionals for in-depth exchanges.

Mr. Li Zengjun, former Chief Economist of the China Chemical Fibers Association and Executive Vice President of the Bio-based Fibers Branch, the Polypropylene Branch, and the Spandex Branch, also visited the eSUN booth.
